I’m a freelance Lighting Designer with 10+ years experience within the live events industry. I have a wide range of experience in all styles of shows from theatre and corporate to arenas and festivals.

 

I’m very passionate about what I do and I pay great attention to detail within my shows. I am always trying to push the boundaries of what is possible with the latest technology. I have recently invested in a GrandMa2, media servers and visualisation software to further enhance my shows, for pre-programming capability and exploring design elements with clients.

 

The role of a lighting designer has evolved and expanded with the advancements in technology and increased audience expectations. I believe that for a clean and coherent show the lighting designer should be controlling the media and laser effects too, thereby harmonising the visual elements of the performance. I have a vast media content library and when combined with the relevant hardware and lighting control I can create a powerful visual design.
